Artist's note:
The paintings of this exhibition are about reality and appearances, a theme I have been interested in for some years, having always liked Plato's allegory of the prisoners and shadows the cave. In and around the Millenium Year, 2000 years after the birth of Christ, I am concerned with the delineation, in a religious context, of dimensions, things seen and unseen and the limitless boundaries of space; outer space and the inner space of the mind.
